Head Prophet of Christ for All Souls Ministry, Prophet Ezekiel Olawumi Odedoyin, renowned for his accurate prediction of President Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 polls, has once again made a bold statement. He firmly believes that those resorting to legal battles to reclaim their supposed mandates are simply wasting their time.
During a recent interaction with journalists in Lagos, the respected man of God confidently declared that God had bestowed upon him the mandate, which he intends to fulfill. He advised individuals like Atiku and Obi to take a break and cease their pursuit, emphasizing that the opportunity they seek no longer exists.
When questioned about previous prophecies that failed to materialize, Prophet Ezekiel explained that as a prophet, one must possess the ability to foresee what lies ahead. He denounced the practice of prophesying merely to appease or entice people, stating that true prophecy comes with authority. According to him, God revealed that He intended to expose those self-proclaimed men of God who have strayed from the righteous path.
Prophet Ezekiel opened up about a challenging experience he faced in the line of ministry when he released a prophecy that resulted in his imprisonment. He recounted how a petition was filed against him, specifically citing an instance involving Olukoya.
The prophet expressed surprise at the allegation of character assassination, firmly maintaining that his role was to provide divine correction and relay God’s revelations. Eventually, the disputed section of the message was deleted under duress, and he found himself locked up for five hours.
Asked whether this incident would deter him from releasing “controversial” prophecies in the future, Prophet Ezekiel adamantly declared that he would continue to faithfully convey God’s instructions, regardless of the consequences. He shared that encounters with law enforcement were not new to him, nor would they be the last.
Not sparing any criticism, Prophet Ezekiel also addressed Pastor Tunde Bakare, who had previously prophesied his own presidency after Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure. The head prophet dismissed Bakare’s prophecy as fake, suggesting that it was influenced by a deceptive angel seeking to humiliate him. He questioned Bakare’s commitment to his assigned mission and challenged him to demonstrate his success in guiding his congregation towards salvation.
With branches of his church flourishing in various locations across Lagos, including Ajah, Ikotun, Egbeda, and Ikorodu, Prophet Ezekiel encouraged Christians to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and exhibit sincerity in their actions. He expressed concern for churches that disregard prophecy, emphasizing the importance of allowing individuals to experience the presence of God. Prophet Ezekiel firmly believed in not mocking the spiritual gifts bestowed upon individuals, using the example of his own inability to be physically present in multiple places simultaneously, underscoring the significance of others being filled with the Holy Spirit in his absence.
