“The labour of our heroes past…o ti lo” – Actress Kate Henshaw reacts to the return to the old National anthem

Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has reacted to the return of Old National Anthem as signed by the President, Bola Tinubu on 29th of May, 2024.

The bill was passed after going through it different levels of reading by the senate and House of Representatives. The reverting of old national anthem brought uproar among numerous Nigerian amid different levels of hardship.

Reacting to the developments, Kate Hanshew who noted the labour of the heroes past has been left out took to her X handle to drop her own view.

In her words,

“In the midst of excoriating hardship & lack of good governance on every level but not to worry going back to a colonial anthem will be a soothing balm and inject patriotism back to our veins, a much needed drugs”
