Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, Nigerian female superstar popularly known as Ayra Starr has lashed out that she won’t be grateful for winning a Headies award in an unannounced category.
The singer stated this on her X handle (formerly called Twitter) on Monday, 4th of September, 2023.
Ayra Starr was awarded the best female artiste of the year on Sunday during the Headies award at Atlanta, United States of America, USA.
She was nominated alongside singers Simi, Tiwa Savage, and Tems, who won the 2022 edition of this category.
She wrote,” I will never be grateful for winning a category that wasn’t even deemed fit to be announced on stage! Best female artist, na beans?
“We work hard, every single one of us! I’ve seen Tiwa record four hit songs on the same night. Tems breathes and lives for music.
