There were uncontrollable tears as Dr. Herbert Wigwe, the chief executive officer of Access Bank Plc, his wife Chizoba, and their son Chizi were laid to rest at their village of Omueke in Isiokpo, Rivers State.
The burial followed after the funeral ceremony was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Governors Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos) and Douye Diri (Bayelsa), Founder and Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote; former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi: 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki were among dignitaries at the burial.
