Taylor Swift made Grammy history on Sunday when her album “Midnights” won album of the year.
The singer said onstage after winning the category for a record fourth time, “Mind blown, thank you so much.”
Swift had previously stated that her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was scheduled to release on April 19 following her win for best pop solo Grammy album for “Midnights”.
The ceremony was definitely dominated by female musicians as Billie Eilish claimed song of the year for “What Was I Made For?,” a ballad written for the Barbie movie soundtrack. Miley Cyrus landed the record of the year honor for her empowerment anthem “Flowers.”
