The Former Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David Parish, Idowu Iluyomade, has founded a new ministry called “The Family Fellowship” in Lagos.
Iluyomade’s decision to establish the new fellowship follows his suspension from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in June 2024, a consequence of the backlash surrounding his wife, Pastor Siju’s, 60th birthday celebration.
The event, which took place just after the unfortunate death of well-known church member Herbert Wigwe, faced significant criticism for its timing, sparking controversy within the church community.
The inaugural service of “The Family Fellowship” was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos.
This was made known via a post on the Instagram handle of Iluyomade, on Sunday, 20th of January 2025.
The post reads:
