Suspected Ritüãlists Slãy 8-Year-Old Pupil in Ogun Primary School, Allegedly Dismember Body

A student from St. Joseph’s African Church Primary School, Odootu/Odogbe in the Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State, was abducted and murdered by suspected ritualists.

It was learned that the heartbreaking incident occured on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, during school hours.

Although the incident’s specifics are still unclear at the time this report was filed, it was learned that the 8-year-old girl left class to use the restroom inside the building.

Later, her disfigured body was discovered, with some of her limbs—including both wrists and a leg—apparently missing.

In response to the regrettable event, Hon. Badejo Folusho, the Executive Chairman of the Ijebu North East Local Government, visited the school on Wednesday, January 24.

After leaving the school, he went to speak with Baba Atayese, a community stakeholder, about a few issues that had been noted and how to resolve them.
