Suspected bandits have reportedly carried out a mass abduction near a technical college in Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
According to Newsmen, the attack occurred on Friday evening when armed men, believed to be terrorists, stormed the community and whisked away multiple residents to an unknown location.
A local source said the attackers struck in the vicinity of the technical college in Mopamuro.
While several people were reportedly taken, the exact number of victims could not be confirmed at the time of this report.
The source added that details on possible injuries or casualties remained unclear, as residents were still trying to account for missing individuals.
Families and community members continue to search for information about their loved ones, with no official confirmation on the number of abducted or injured persons as of yet.
