Sadiq Umar, a Super Eagles/ Real Sociedad player, has undergone a successful surgery today (Thursday).
The super eagles player had been diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament earlier this week, on Monday and would not be able to play for the rest of the season.
However, a fresh update popped up today (Thursday) from his club, which stated “Sadiq underwent surgery this morning. The operation was successfully carried out with no issues. He will remain in the hospital until Friday or Saturday, depending on his evolution.”
