Sunday Igboho Vows to Flush Têrrorists Out of Yoruba Forests, Seeks Government Backing

Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Sunday Igboho, has declared his willingness to collaborate with the Federal Government to rid the South-West forests of bandits and other criminal elements.

Speaking with Saturday PUNCH in Ibadan, Oyo State, Igboho said he and his supporters are prepared to enter the forests and confront the terrorists terrorising rural communities, provided they receive official approval and support. “I need the support of the Federal Government to strengthen security in the South-West. I’m ready to enter the forests in Yorubaland with my boys to flush out terrorists attacking our people in rural communities. We can’t do anything without government approval or support,” he stated.

Igboho stressed that since his freedom and pardon, he is ready to work hand-in-hand with authorities to eliminate criminal elements and rogue herders threatening peace in the region. He reaffirmed that he possesses the manpower and capacity to assist in securing rural areas if given the green light by the Federal Government.
