President Bola Tinubu has again reiterated that the fuel subsidy is gone for the good of Nigeria as a country.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit on Thursday, the president said he and his party had pledged to tackle Nigeria’s problems head-on.
“Today, I am proud to affirm that our economic reforms are working. There’s nothing good that comes easily. The subsidy is gone and was gone for the good of this country,” President Tinubu said.
He also said that his administration is focused on fostering prosperity and in turn restoring Nigeria’s economy.
Stating that there is no going back in the path recently laid for the nation’s economic growth, Tinubu said his reforms are working.
According to the president, hard decisions make things easier in the future.
