A 19-year-old student of a secondary school in Kubwa town, Federal Capital Territory, was fatally stabbed, reportedly by her co-tenant.
The deceased identified as Salma Yunusa of Ajagwumu in Dekina LGA, Kogi State, was reportedly being cared for by her older sister, Bilikisu Yunusa, in the Byazhin area of Abuja where Immaculate Chukwudi, a neighbor, stabbed the victim to death.
Reportedly, the stabbing occurred over a dispute about cloths hanging on a rope.
Immaculate is currently being held after reportedly confessing to the authorities.
Freshrrporters was able to stable on a video of the aftermath, which shows the woman laying motionless on a trolley with others around her in tears.
The event was verified by Josephine Adeh, a spokesman for the FCT police headquarters, who also stated that the suspect will shortly face charges and that the case was still under investigation. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
