Adeleke David, Nigerian superstar, professionally known as Davido, has announced that he will perform at Forbes’ Under 30 Summit in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.
This is coming on the heels of his recent success with his fourth new studio album, ‘Timeless,’ and his return to social media platforms.
The Nigerian songwriter and singer disclosed this in a post he shared via his Twitter page on Wednesday.
He wrote, “I’m performing and speaking at the 2023 #Forbes #Under30Summit Africa in Gaborone, Botswana on April 23-26!”
Davido’s newest album, ‘Timeless’ has set a new record for the most first-day streams by an African album on Apple Music, freshreporters reports Tuesday.
The Apple Music itself revealed made this known on Monday in a tweet shared via Apple Music Twitter page.
Apple Music tweeted “.#davido is breaking global records. The Nigerian superstar’s #Timeless had the most first-day streams ever for an African album on Apple Music.”
The ‘Timeless’ album amassed one million streams on Boomplay in just six hours after it was released on the streaming platform on Friday, 31st of March, 2023.
The album was also the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music
