Nigerian lawyer and bestselling author, Reno Omokri, has tackled Nwajiuba, Nigeria’s State Minister for Education, over his 2023 Presidential move.
The former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, expressed concern over the ongoing industrial actions, while questioning the source of his income for being able to buy the party’s Presidential nomination form.
He wrote “ ASUU is on strike due to lack of funds. NASU is on strike due to lack of funds. ASUP is on strike due to lack of funds. NUT is on strike due to lack of funds.
“Meanwhile, the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, whose salary for the seven years he has been minister is not up to ₦100 million, and who is prohibited by law from running a business while he is in government, and who should be focused on providing funds for these striking educational bodies, just bought a ₦100 million APC Presidential nomination form? If only EFCC knew their job!”
