A 16-year-old Sinhala student named Dinal De Alwis has ended it all after he claims that several Nigerian yahoo boys blackmailed him using his private images.
According to DailyMail, Alwis had just begun sixth form when he received a message on the social media platform Snapchat from a user who appeared to be from Nigeria.
The hearing was told that Dinal received two pictures of himself and was threatened with them being shared to “all his online followers” unless he paid £100.
After leaving his south London house near Croydon, the student made a quick video announcement that he intended to end everything.
The student left his family home, near Croydon, south London, and recorded a brief video saying he planned to end it all.
According to his dad, Kaushallya De Alwis, “He messaged my wife and I to say he loved us, and he told his two brothers that he loves them & said they need to ‘look after mum and dad’.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
