Singer Naira Marley Reacts Following Former Signee, Mohbad’s D£ath

Azeez Fashola, a Marlian Records boss professionally known as Naira Marley, has broken his silence following the death of his former signee, MohBad on Tuesday.

The ‘Soapy’ crooner took to his Instagram stories to share a simple heartbreak emoji.

This is coming after an old video of singer Bella Shmurda in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo surfaced online.

Shmurda in the video alleged that MohBad attempted suicide at some point over issues with his former label, Marlian Records.

The video of singer Bella Shmurda which emanated online was seen discussing the late MohBad’s mental health issues has resurfaced on the internet.

According to Shmurda, the late singer dealt with depression stemming from the end of his contract with Marlian Music owned by popular artiste, Naira Marley.

Shmurda said,

“I do not want to say this but I will. I and Mohbad were in an apartment when he suddenly said he felt like jumping from the floor we were on, downstairs all because of the issues he was having with his label.

“It was his girlfriend who came to alert us that he was at the edge of his window and was about to jump to his death.

“Anything that will make anyone attempt to take their own life is extreme and when it does happen, these people will join the many tweeting RIP.”
