The sit-at-home order placed by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Tuesday 17th of May, 2022 has taken adverse effects in the state.
As of today, the state economic activities in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital and its communities has remained quiet.
Correspondence observed and reported that the New Market Road at Ogoja Road, Water Works Road and a section of the state Old Government House, Abakaliki, in the state capital were almost empty as of today, Tuesday 17th of May morning.
The IPOB has earlier declared a sit-at-home order in the state.
