Members of the Agunechemba security group in Anambra have apprehended a gang of kidnappers who disguised themselves as cow sellers.
The suspects were caught while attempting to abduct a cow meat seller, identified as Chikamso, at the Agu Odumodu Umunya community.
Chikamso managed to escape from the ambush set by the suspected herdsmen and alerted the security group, leading to their swift arrest.
One of the security personnels speaking in Igbo said:
“These are Fulani cattle rearers we caught in the bush, there is a certain meat seller whom they lured into the bush to come check the cows, his name is Chikamso, this is the person they called to come buy the cow
“When he got there, they ambushed him with arms (AK 47), but he managed to escape to Udu and call us,when we got there, they shot at us, but we managed to arrest these three “. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
