Former Ghanaian superstar, Shatta Wale has lamented over the fact that music is making money off Sarkodie instead of him making money off music.
“Sarkodie isn’t an attiste, I think he would’ve been a great farmer. If we consider the money he’s putting into his music, we’ll realize he’s just wasting money. “
“He’s just wasting money that he could use to build even filling stations or buy farmlands and empower youths. “
“He’s shootîng videos worth $30k and getting 50k views so where’s he going? He’s putting more money into his music than most artiste in Africa but he’s still not up to Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy. “
“One thing Ghanaians need to understand is that even if we spend billons on music, no artiste in Ghana can ever reach Davido or Burna Boy’s level not to talk of Wizkid. “
