The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, has on Tuesday revealed that bus fares in the state would be returning to 100% from initial 50% before state Governorship election and Naira scarcity.
The commission made this known while sharing a picture of the statement on their verified Instagram handle on Tuesday, 28th of March, 2023.
In the statement read in part, “With effect from Saturday, 1st April, bus fares on all regulated buses – BRT, standard and FLM- shall revert to 100 per cent rate.”
Recalled that FreshReporters had reported Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on 8 February, 2023 announced the reduction of transportation fare in the state by 50 per cent.
