Retired Police Officers Storm Abuja Street Over Unpaid Pension

Some Retired Police Officers under the contributory pension scheme have stormed the streets of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT protesting over several months of unpaid pensions.

The protesting officers arrived from various state chapters, expressing their frustration with the hardship their members were enduring due to PENCOM’s inability to pay their entitlements.

The retirees are urging the Federal Government to exempt them from the contributory pension scheme.
