Reptiles, Alligators Take Over Ogun, Lagos Communities As Flood Issue Worsens

Residents of areas affected by the flood caused by the water released from the Oyan Dam have begun to panic after sighting some dangerous animals in their vicinities.

The flood which started spreading across the border communities in Lagos and Ogun states about two weeks ago has continued to increase by the day.

Some residents of Prime View City Estate, however, claimed to have been seeing snakes, alligators and scorpions crawling out of the water in search of dry land.

Some of the buildings in the affected areas have been abandoned by the owners who are now taking refuge elsewhere. The water had also occupied some shops in the area, freshreporters media had learnt.
