Release Nnamdi Kanu, And Unrest In South East Will Cease – Actress Rita Edochie To FG

Renowned actress Rita Edochie has taken to social media to express her belief that the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), will lead to the restoration of peace in the South East region of Nigeria.

Edochie voiced her frustrations with the “elites” who send their own children abroad while manipulating the children of the less privileged to fuel unrest in the area.

In a strongly worded post shared on her Instagram page earlier today, Edochie conveyed her message by emphasizing the need for Nnamdi Kanu’s immediate release.

She firmly believes that this action would eradicate the ongoing unrest in the South East, bringing an end to the region’s tumultuous history.

“RELEASE MAZI NNAMDI OKWU KANU TODAY AND SEE THE UNREST IN THE SOUTH EAST BECOME A HISTORY,” she passionately wrote. Edochie also criticized the elites who use other people’s children to cause chaos while their own children enjoy a life of comfort overseas. She implored them to stop playing with people’s lives, emphasizing that those who are involved in such actions will never know peace in their own lives or for future generations.

Rita Edochie’s call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu comes amidst the ongoing discussions surrounding his detention by the Nigerian government.

Kanu, who was arrested in 2021 and brought back to Nigeria to face charges of treason and terrorism, has been a prominent figure in advocating for the secession of the South East region from Nigeria.
