Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is facing a five-year prison sentence for tax fraud, according to the Prosecutor’s Office in Spain.
Ancelotti is accused of defrauding the Treasury of over €1 million between 2014 and 2015, during his first stint at Madrid.
The Prosecutor’s Office is seeking a jail term of four years and nine months for Ancelotti.
The charges stem from Ancelotti only reporting his salary as Madrid manager in his tax return, without including any income from image rights.
