Reactions Trail As Popular Writer Buchi Deactivates Social Media Accounts After Being Bashed Online

Solomon Buchi, A popular writer on Nigeria’s social media sphere, has deactivated his social media handle after being bashed online for begging.

Some Screenshots of his chats years ago surfaced where he solicited funds were shared online after he advised men not to date ‘broke’ girls.

This has stirred up different reactions from netizens over the incident. some Nigerians on Twitter platform has bashed him even further for his feminist writings and revealing everything about his life on social media handle .

Nigerian not even feeling sorry for the writer, Buchi because of his constant support for feminist, one of the tweep, #DiKachii bashed “So Mr Solomon Buchi deactivated his account? I do not feel sorry for him he should have heeded the old warning like in Yogi; ‘Do not feed the bears.'”

#cyrilrosevelt, another tweep complained that Buchi revealed too much, saying ‘’Solomon Buchi deactivated his account. See, as a man no too dey talk. It’s not good at all. He didn’t know when to stfu.’’

Ogbeni Dipo, a popular tweep said ‘’Some of us get flacks every week and we never run to lock our account. Solomon Buchi who likes to abuse and insult locked his account for days. Now, he has deactivated. No tough skin?’’

‘’The reason why most people are ‘dragging’ Solomon Buchi is because his hypocrisy stinks. It’s next level. This is someone who practically crowdfunds for almost everything he owns. Yet he constantly broke shame people online especially women who are his main benefactors.’’ #abelpter commented.

Meanwhile, before the Buchi writer deactivated his account, he addressed the allegations.

“I’ve seen screenshots and it left me in a rude shock. Screenshots from Facebook – 2015 to 2017, and these were hellish times in my life where I had only opened up and sought the financial help of people who made me feel safe or at least that I felt comfortable sharing my struggles with. I am not ashamed of that, because it is human.” He said
