Rauf Aregbesola, the Former Minister of Interior, was honoured at a Special Thanksgiving Jumat Service on Friday at the Osogbo Central Mosque in Osun State.
Also, the former governor of the state of Osun revealed this in a post on his Facebook handle on Saturday.
He partly wrote,
“I thank the Chief Imam of Osogbo and Grand Imam of Osun, Sheikh Musa Animashaun; the Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Larooye II, and the entire Muslim community in the state for honouring me at the Special Thanksgiving Jumat Service which held yesterday at the Osogbo Central Mosque.
“The love that they have shown me over the years has transformed me from a resident to an indigene of Osogbo. I feel at peace all the time because of the solidarity and honour they continue to give me. I am grateful!”
