The famously known Nigerian Gospel artiste, Nathaniel Bassey has prayed that the world best award winning player, Lionel Andreas Messi wins the 2022 world cup.
The gospel singer asked to grant his desires via his twitter handle today, Wednesday. The Argentina player and his teammates had ruthlessly crushed out Croatia out of the World Cup which made them cling to the final.
In his tweet, the gospel singer said, “Father, Please give Him the World Cup and silence His mockers …?.
The singer Stating the reason for his prayers, he said “So because I want my favourite player to win the World Cup, I don’t pray for Nigeria Abi? Schm. Is it today you found out I’m a huge Messi fan. So being a man of God means I can’t watch football as one of my hobbies. ??.
Lionel Messi has also revealed that this probably would be his last World Cup as a player.
