Auwal Musa Muhammad, the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police has cautioned people joining the nationwide protest in the state against any attempt that will disrupt the peaceful atmosphere and public order.
The commissioner in a statement signed by the Police public relations officer SP Ahmed Wakili, cried out over the attitude of some hoodlums that took advantage of the protest in Azare Town to exhibit various acts of vandalism, destruction and looting of both public and government properties.
Auwal Musa Muhammad who confirmed that the situation is presently calm within the Bauchi metropolis and other parts of the state has also directed for deployment of police in all the strategic locations.
