The Striking university staffs’ and Federal Government renegotiation committee sitting will end today, Tuesday 7th of June, 2022.
The ASUU National President, Professor Osodeke Emmanuel while speaking with the newsmen said progress has been made so far but it depends on the federal government to act up with demands.
According to him ‘‘There is progress but it depends on the government side. We had a fairly good meeting we are still trying to resolve the issues.
“Until we get the final report from the government. We are trying to work in the same direction. They are also testing UTAS.’’
It is believed that the committee would submit its report to the FG this week or they could be ‘given an extension’.
Nigerian students hope positively. ASUU has been on strike since February 14th over federal government to meet its demand.
