Nigeria President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following his trip to Accra, Ghana for the inauguration of John Drahami Mahama, the 13th president of Ghana, on Tuesday, 7th of January 2025.
Tinubu departed for Ghana from Lagos where he celebrated the festive season on Monday, 6th of January 2025.
The President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga earlier revealed that the president’s attendance at the event as a special guest of honour was based on personal invitation from Mahama.
His arrival in Nigeria’s capital was disclosed via a video shared by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Wednesday, 8th of January 2025.
