Nigeria President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presently hosting Monday Okpebholo, the governor-elect of Edo state, alongside his deputy, Dennis Idahosa at the State House in Abuja.
Okpebholo is joined by the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, along with several governors elected under the APC banner.
Among the governors spotted are the chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).
Also spotted at the villa is the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, and deputy governor, Philip Shaibu.
According to videos shared by the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Thursday, 26th of September 2024, said the Okpebholo and the APC leaders are at the villa to present their Certificate of Return to the President.
The caption reads:
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives in audience the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, Progressive Governors Forum and the Governor-Elect and Deputy-Governor Elect at the State House after they came to present him their Certificate of Return at the Presidential Villa.”
