President Tinubu Has Earned a Second Term in 2027 — LP Senator Imasuen Drums Support

Labour Party (LP) Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South, has expressed strong support for President Bola Tinubu, stating that the President deserves a second term in 2027 due to his bold leadership.

Speaking to journalists in Benin City over the weekend, Imasuen praised Tinubu’s “unbelievable strong courage” in steering the country through challenging times and asserted that the South should retain the presidency in the next election cycle.

He also backed the recent Supreme Court ruling that removed Julius Abure as the national chairman of the Labour Party, stating that Abure lacked genuine commitment to the party’s progress.

Imasuen, who chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Public Petitions, remains the only Labour Party senator in Edo State.
