President Tinubu departs Brazil for Abuja after G20 summit

Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has left Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he went to participate in the 19th G20 leaders’ summit for Abuja, Nigeria.

President Tinubu took off from Galeao Air Force Base, Rio on Saturday, 23rd of November 2024.

While in Rio de Janeiro, Tinubu had expressed Nigeria’s readiness to represent Africa in the United Nations Security Council.

At the summit, Tinubu also hailed the global alliance against hunger and poverty and described the Alliance as a significant milestone in eradicating global hunger and poverty.

Tinubu’s departure from Brazil was disclosed via a video seen on X on Saturday, November 23.

The caption reads:
