Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahned Tinubu has extended his condolences to the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Sofisticat, following the death of his mother, Rufina Duruogbola Ogunlesi.
Tinubu’s condolence message was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday, 30th of July, 2024.
The statement reads:
“President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt commiserations to Mr. Lanre Ogunlesi, Chief Executive Officer of Sofisticat, over the passing of his mother, Mrs. Rufina Duruogbola Ogunlesi.
“The President joins the Ogunlesi family in mourning their beloved matriarch, who lived an exemplary life, inspired many with her hard work, and nurtured great talents and fashion icons like Lanre, who has been the President’s tailor for many years.
“The President urges the Ogunlesi family to find comfort in knowing that Mama’s legacy lives on and will continue to guide and inspire them to lofty ideals.
