President Bola Tinubu arrived in Katsina State on Friday for a two-day official visit focused on addressing the region’s growing security concerns and inaugurating key development projects.
According to the statement, the President departed Abuja earlier in the day for a stakeholders’ meeting aimed at assessing and strengthening security measures in the state.
Katsina, also the home state of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has witnessed a troubling surge in banditry and kidnappings in recent months.
During his visit, President Tinubu is scheduled to commission the newly completed Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre and inaugurate a 24-kilometre dual carriageway constructed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s administration.
