President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport in Katsina State, as part of the ongoing state funeral arrangements for the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu is expected to personally receive the remains of former President Buhari, which is being repatriated from London, upon arrival at the airport.
Following a brief military ceremony at the airport, the body will be transported to Daura, Buhari’s hometown, for the Jana’iza (funeral prayer) and subsequent interment at his private residence.
