President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight people as Special Advisers to his administration.
The news came through an official statement released on Thursday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the Director of Information at the State House.
The statement outlined the names and respective portfolios of the appointees as follows;
Mr. Dele Alake has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy.
Mr. Yau Darazo has been named the Special Adviser for Political and Intergovernmental Affairs.
The role of Special Adviser for Monetary Policies will be assumed by Mr. Wale Edun, a seasoned economist.
Mrs. Olu Verheijen has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Energy.
Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Revenue.
Renowned anti-corruption crusader Mr. Nuhu Ribadu has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Security.
Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, a seasoned businessman and politician, has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Dr. Salma Ibrahim Anas has been named the Special Adviser for Health.
