Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect, has congratulated professional mixed martial artist, Nigerian Israel Adesanya, after he reclaimed his UFC middleweight belt title against Alex Pereira in the Ultimate Fighting Championship 287.
The Nigerian-born New Zealander has taken back the 185lb tittle barely five months after he lost it to his river, Alex Pereira, Who has hitherto knocked him down twice in the kickboxing.
However, in a post via Tinubu twitter page on Sunday, he congratulated him and described him as who never stopped believing in himself.
He wrote,
“Congratulations to Isreal Adesanya #stylebender on reclaiming the UFC Middleweight Title. He never stopped believing in himself and we did not stop believing in him. #NaijaProud”
