The president of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has unveiled the New Naira Notes.
The notes were presented today, Wednesday at the state house, Abuja Federal Capital Territory.
The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele was Present along side the Economic Financial Crime Commission, EFCC Boss Abdulrasaq Bawa and other relevant arms.
The New notes are expected to circulate in January, 2023. As earlier announced by the CBN Governor, Emefiele has directed Nigerians with cash to deposit in their various banks.
Notes redesigned are; N200, N500, N1000.
