President Bola Tinubu arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday, marking his return from London, United Kingdom.
The President’s flight touched down precisely at 05:13 pm, and he was warmly received by a multitude of supporters and high-ranking members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The homecoming event was further adorned with the presence of the colourful Presidential Guards, who welcomed President Tinubu upon his arrival.
President Tinubu participated in the New Global Financial Pact summit held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France, where he joined other world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron.
Following the two-day summit, President Tinubu proceeded to London, United Kingdom, for a brief private visit, as revealed by his spokesperson, Dele Alake, in a statement last Saturday. The visit to London served as a chance for the President to attend to personal matters and engage in private meetings.
Alake further indicated that President Tinubu would return to Nigeria to partake in the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festivities scheduled for June 28 and 29, 2023.
