The south-east Presidential aspirants under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as on Saturday 9th of April, 2022 converge in Abuja to request the party’s presidential ticket for 2023 general be zoned to their region.
The south-east presidential aspirants aspirants includes, Anyim Pius Anyim, Peter Obi, Sam Ohuabunwa and Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze.
The four south-east personality according to their statement has agreed to work together to ensure the eastern part of the country wins as the PDP flagbearer in the coming election.
According to Anyim Pius Anyim who disclosed the decisions of the four aspirants said, “We have agreed to work together as a team and that we will work together to ensure that a South Easterner emerges as PDP flagbearer.”
