President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, commissioned a wide range of transformative development projects in Kaduna State, highlighting the state’s commitment to infrastructure renewal, healthcare, technical education, and economic growth.
Undertaken under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, the projects span multiple sectors and include the newly inaugurated 300-bed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, extensive township and rural road upgrades, the launch of vocational training centres, and the introduction of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses aimed at modernising the state’s public transportation system.
A major highlight of the visit was the commissioning of three newly established Institutes of Vocational Training and Skills Development located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf.
These centres are designed to equip young people with technical skills, support entrepreneurship, and position Kaduna as a leading hub for human capital development.
President Tinubu also flagged off several road projects, including the 24-kilometre Kafanchan township road, the Tudun Biri road, and a 22-kilometre stretch linking Kauru and Kubau local government areas.
