Renowned Nigerian rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, popularly known as CDQ, is currently fighting for his life following a severe car accident in Lagos.
The unfortunate incident took place on a Tuesday afternoon, where CDQ’s vehicle collided with another car and crashed into a building along the road.
Eyewitnesses captured the aftermath of the crash on video, showing the damaged car and the rapper receiving urgent medical care in a Lagos hospital.
The distressing footage has been circulating on social media, prompting fans and well-wishers to flood CDQ’s social media platforms with messages of support and prayers for his speedy recovery.
CDQ embarked on his music journey as a backup singer for the late Nigerian rapper, DaGrin.
His breakthrough came in 2012 when he won a rap battle contest alongside M.I, which catapulted him into the spotlight.
