One of the ex-convict identified as Yakub Yusuf, of 23 years old has been arrested hours after he was released from prison.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police spokesperson, today, Thursday.
He said that men of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS had nabbed Yusuf on Saturday morning. He was released from prison custody on Friday, after a non-governmental organisation paid his fine upon conviction for stealing at the Lagos State fuel dump, Alausa, Ikeja on November 1, 2022.
Again, on Saturday, Yusuf was arrested after breaking into Lagos State Fire Service premises. It was gathered that this time around, he stole valve covers of old fire truck under repairs.
