Police Nabs Internet Fraudsters Who Deceive Victims By Claiming To Have Been Arrested

The Delta State Police Command revealed that Internet fraudsters Popular known as ‘Yahoo’ now deceive their victims by lying to have been detained by police officers and need money to post bail.

This was contained in a statement shared on the Command’s Twitter handle on Thursday.

The statement reads,

“Internet fraudsters are lying to their victims that our men arrested them, and they need some amount of money to bail themselves out. We receive calls and chats every week from these victims to confirm why their supposed husband was arrested.
