Abubakar Haruna, 27, has been taken into custody by officers from the Lagos State Police Command’s Onikan Division for stealing transformer cables.
This was announced on Saturday in a statement posted on his ‘X account by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the state police.
He wrote, ” Following a distress call, officers of Onikan Division have arrested one Abubakar Haruna, aged 27, after he jumped into a compound, and cut off cables from the transformer within the premises.
“He was arrested with a machete, two saws, and pliers. Investigation is ongoing.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
