Peter Obi, the presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, LP has sent a congratulatory message to the Nigerian athletes who have won medals at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, holding in Birmingham.
Obi taking to his twitter handle today, 1st of August, 2022 shared the congratulatory message, for bringing home (Nigeria) the medals.
The LP Presidential Candidate who described the winner as a talented Nigerian youth said , “Heartwarming news from the Commonwealth Games. Adijat Adenike Olarinoye’s Games-record gold in the 55kg weightlifting and Rafiatu Folashade Lawal’s Games-record gold in the 59kg weightlifting event was followed by Edidiong Joseph Umoafia’s bronze in the men’s 67kg category.
“Congratulations to our talented youths who continue to make Nigeria proud. – PO.”
