Some Abia state persons living with disabilities have blocked the entrance of the Abia State House of Assembly over the state House’s refusal to pass the bill on persons with disability.
The move came up yesterday, Tuesday, 19th of July, 2022 by the group of persons, and was head by it association leaders.
While speaking on behalf of the group, Wisdom Okechukwu Kalu, who is the state chairman of the Joint Association of Persons Living With Disabilities, stated “This is eight years that our bill has been lying down in the state House of Assembly.”
