The world catholic priest, Pope Francis has spoken against the criminalisation of people indulging in homosexuality.
It was gathered that the Pope made this stances known while speaking to reporters after visiting South Sudan.
The catholic Francis described those with “homosexual tendencies” as children of God, adding that they should be welcomed by their churches around the world.
Francis noted that criminalizing homosexual is not right, this describe people who condemn this set of people as sinners.
Condemning the criminality of homosexuals, the Pope said, “This is not right. Persons with homosexual tendencies are children of God. God loves them. God accompanies them… condemning a person like this is a sin.”
It was recalled in January, the Church of England said it would refuse to allow same-sex couples to get married in its churches.
