PDP youths advise Tinubu to seek guidance from Obasanjo, Jonathan amidst economic crisis.

President Bola Tinubu has been encouraged by the youth wing of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to reach out for assistance from his predecessors.

The president was urged by the young generation to consult ex-presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, for direction on how to progress the nation.

On Saturday, the PDP Youths Frontier’s National Coordinator Usman Okai Austin issued a statement in which they communicated their worries.

The youth division contended that Nigeria requires a leader with the ability to drive economic recuperation since Tinubu’s efforts have been unsuccessful.

They expressed sorrow over the fact that after spending eight years in power, blaming Jonathan, former president Muhammadu Buhari has been followed by Tinubu who is also perpetuating this act.

Okai states that we need leaders who can tackle the present problems of our country and guide us towards restoring the economy and ensuring security.

To move the country forward, President Tinubu ought to seek advice from seasoned leaders such as Jonathan and Obasanjo.

He further stressed the significance of putting aside discrepancies within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and directing attention towards improving the welfare of Nigerians.

In addition, he censured the APC for depending on propaganda and emphasized that the economic policies of the president were unsuccessful in confronting contemporary issues confronted by Nigeria.

The party leadership’s inability to comprehend the intricacies of Nigeria is evident from their confusion. Similarly, the president’s perplexity mirrors the recurring pattern of finger-pointing within the party.

Due to economic challenges, Nigerians are facing difficulties such as a rise in school dropouts, inflation of prices for goods and services and devaluation of the Naira.

Confusion seems to be prevailing within the administration amidst economic and insecurity crises.

He stated that Tinubu, who is regarded as the top performer in APC, has fallen short in managing the economy just like Buhari. He urged Tinubu to own up to his government’s inadequacies rather than pointing fingers at others.
